Dedicate your pushka in loving memory of, in honor of, or lezechus someone special. The dedication appears on your pushka until it is emptied.
On Taanis Esther and Purim, give Machzis Hashekel from the app — as the symbolic half-coin, the silver-weight value, or the Israeli half-shekel amount.
Mayanot is a registered non-profit in each region we support. Your annual tax summary is emailed to the receipt address on your account.
Optionally require a PIN before any donation is processed, so the app is safe to hand to a child dropping the day's coin.
Every coin and every charge is listed in the app, with the date, the amount and the dedication it was given under.
There is no subscription, no membership fee and no charge for using the app. The only amount ever charged is the tzedakah you chose to give.
You set your own amounts and your own monthly goal. Amounts are shown in your chosen currency; donations from Israel are charged in shekels.
When your card is charged. Your card is charged the moment your pushka reaches the goal you set — never before. Coins added to the pushka are a running tally inside the app; they are not a payment.
If you don't reach your goal. If a pushka sits below its goal for 30 days, we notify you and, unless you turn this off, charge your card for whatever amount is actually in the pushka, so the money reaches tzedakah. You can switch this off at any time in Settings → Payment → Auto-charge after 30 days, in which case your coins stay in the pushka until you choose to empty it.
You are always told first. Every charge is confirmed in the app and by email. Nothing recurring is set up without you choosing it.
Payments are processed by regulated payment providers — HYP for donations processed in Israel and Stripe for international donations. Card details are entered on the provider's secure page and are never stored on Mayanot's servers. All traffic to this site and the app is encrypted with TLS.

Tap a preset amount to drop a symbolic coin into your pushka. Coins accumulate in the app. When you hit your goal, your saved card is charged for the goal amount and your tzedakah is sent to Mayanot.
Your card is charged the moment your pushka hits its goal — not before. If a pushka sits below goal for 30 days, we notify you and, by default, charge your card for whatever amount is in it so the money gets to tzedakah.
After 30 days we prompt you on the next app open with two choices: fill up to your goal right now, or charge just what is in your pushka today. Your dedication resets for the next round.
Yes. Go to Settings → Payment → Auto-charge after 30 days and toggle it off. With it disabled, coins remain in your pushka until you manually empty it.
Any major credit or debit card. Donations processed in Israel are handled by HYP; international donations are handled by Stripe.
Donations are generally non-refundable, but if a donation was made in error, was not authorised by you, or you simply change your mind shortly afterwards, contact us at support@mayanot.edu and we will review it. Full details are in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Yes — Mayanot is a registered non-profit in each of the regions we support. We email your annual tax summary to the receipt email you set at signup.
Yes. Settings → Pushka Settings → Dedication. Choose "In loving memory of", "In honor of" or "Lezechus" and enter a name — it displays on your pushka.
Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile and saved payment method. Past donation receipts remain available through Mayanot's records, as required for charitable reporting.
